I just finished my last day of Renato‘s two week basic jewelry course. First week it is fabrication, second is stone setting. This is THE Way to go if you’re interested in getting your feet wet for a hobby, or a career. Certainly, you would need additional training to become a bench jeweler for work, but this is a wonderful start.

to give you an idea of what you can learn in two weeks, I created close to 10 rings all the way from sheep and a nice stone pendant. I became pretty proficient with soldering, and look forward to further practice on my own. Renato also taught me a wealth of information about polishing and refurbishing old jewelry.

I had a great week with Renato for stone setting! In just four days, I was able to practice have a setting, prong, setting, flush, setting, and bezel setting. As a master Jeweler, Renato was able to answer all of my difficult questions, and taught me new methods and metalsmithing techniques, including Repair, toolmaking, finishing, and more.

Just finished my jewelry making class, and I give it two thumbs up. Mr. Renato is a great teacher, he is very patient, efficient and expects students to give their best efforts. I recommend this class to anyone interested in the business. :) as far as customers are concerned, I can personally say Mr. Renato does great work and provides good customer service.

Excellent jewelry making / Metalsmithing class! I really enjoyed the one on one attention or not abuse in his jewelry classes. Just completed a 5 day remaking course where I learn to Saul, file, solder, bezel, set, a cabachon, bezel set a faceted stone and polish, the silver to a mirror finish. I gained lots of valuable, hands-on experience from his class, and it was great to learn from the master craftsman. I would recommend his jewelry making classes to anyone interested in learning the art of metalsmithing.

Renato is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is also talented and knows how to do pretty much anything when it comes to jewelry. I have taken you remaking classes in the past and Renato‘s class was BY FAR the best class. I learned so many new techniques in such a short amount of time, I was amazed! Cannot say enough good things about him. Take his class you will not regret it!
